  Better to have a business paypal account and link that to multiple ebay accounts. But, more important, before we get ahead of ourselves on this scaling issue...let's get one account up and running and making sales :-)

  This is fine, it just means you need to list and sell something to get the seller account active again (or for the first time). Perfectly normal for ebay and you should not open a new account.
