I just started buying and ebay put a buying restriction on my account. What should I do?
This is normal. When ebay detects a lot of quick buying activity, especially on new accounts (and possibly also more likely when using a VPN), they often put a temporary restriction on your account. This can easily be rectified by messaging ebay support who will just confirm your account and remove the restriction. Alternatively, for no apparent reason, you can change your payment method and that sometimes works as well. To avoid this happening, we suggest purchasing no more than 3-5 items a day.
