How can I promote listings? I am getting an error that will not allow me to promote listings? Why promote listings?

UPDATE: As of May 2019, ALL seller's in good standing can promote their listings and not just those with store subscriptions.

eBay now also saves your promoted listings settings so that when you relist an item that previously had promoted listing (or use ebay's "sell similar" feature), it will save you time in applying the settings to the new listing.

Only those with a Store Subscription (see here: https://support.umbrellaus.com/portal/kb/articles/should-i-open-an-ebay-store) (or with Top Seller status) can promote listings. Only fixed price items can be promoted, and promoting listings will help increase exposure and conversions by up to 30%

Your listings will only be promoted on the eBay site you listed on- this is another reason it is important to set-up on ebay.com
